The old Europe; will never come back to life: does the young Europe offer more chances?

The history and destiny of Europe are undeniably related. Whether that is by cultural exchange, by rivalry, by discord or by peace, there is a common construction that makes Europe a singular continent due to its diversity and shared values, its cooperation and its affirmed construction.

We believe that the European continent is faced today with unprecedented challenges. The important political debates that animate our century need to start counting on the presence of younger generations, which is where the future of Europe will be played. As they are often disconnected from the debates that surround them, they become disoriented in a time that will construct the different paths of the future. We believe that this can change.

By common actions of exchange and sharing opinions, we wish for our fellow Europeans to be the principal actors of the political, academic, social, historical, scientific and cultural debates that are in the heart of today’s Europe, but also that will forge its future currents. Those dialogue opportunities will be inspired by debates, conferences and seminaries, but mostly by the publishing of reports and articles combining different points of view. This work will be done under the impulsion of our Writing committee, and especially with help from a multitude of contributors. They will be the key actors guaranteeing the success of our exchange to enlighten the thoughts and ideas hidden in the youth. By taking full advantage of the volunteer system, we strive to represent the social reality of our continent. An ideological and political reality, extracted from the source of intelligence and future, embodied by the young. 

As the statement by Chateaubriand reflects, the uncertain but promising future of the European continent stands a chance to get constructed solely if spoken by a newer voice. That’s why the end goal of our association will be a work gathering the cultural and intellectual reflexions of our movement. By this, we hope to give a cohesive summary of the work accomplished : a collection of past and future ideas, in a sole vision of it getting to serve the collective interest.
